Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road is part of the Surabaya-Malang Toll Road construction plan made by the Government. The construction of Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road began in 2012 and has been operated on June 12, 2015. The operations of Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road that spans 12.1 km was inaugurated by President of RI, Joko Widodo, on June 18, 2015. The 13,6 km Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road has been fully operational in 2019 where this Toll Road is expected to overcome congestionon the existing national road and increase the efficiency of logistics activities in East Java.
