Christmas Day to D+3 Christmas 2022, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road Records 160,000 Vehicles Heading to Jakarta

Bekasi (29/12), PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded 160,995 vehicles heading to Jakarta since Christmas Day 2022 to D+3 (25-28/12). The total volume of vehicles heading to the Jakarta area via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) has increased by 36.73% compared to normal traffic (traffic) of 117,750 vehicles.
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also records traffic volume on Christmas Day 2022 to D+3 in the Central Java and East Java Regions as follows:
1. Central Java Region
a. GT Kalikangkung
The volume of GT Kalikangkung vehicles leaving Semarang, on Christmas Day 2022 to D+3, was recorded at 94,532 vehicles, up 57.68% from normal traffic of 59,952 vehicles. There were 102,896 vehicles heading to Semarang, an increase of 73.55% from the normal traffic of 59,290 vehicles.
b. GT Banyuwangi
On Christmas Day 2022 to D+3, there were 124,163 vehicles leaving Semarang via GT Banyumanik, an increase of 57.63% from normal traffic of 78,767 vehicles. There were 145,960 vehicles heading to Semarang, an increase of 62.55% compared to normal traffic of 89,792 vehicles.
2. East Java Region
a. GT Warugunung
On Christmas Day 2022 until D+3, there were 91,432 vehicles leaving Surabaya via GT Warugunung or an increase of 37.51% compared to normal traffic of 66,492 vehicles. There were 101,071 vehicles heading to Surabaya via GT Warugunung, an increase of 42.27% compared to normal traffic of 71,043 vehicles.
b. GT Kejapan Utama
On Christmas Day 2022 to D+3, there were 135,510 vehicles leaving Surabaya, an increase of 33.73% from normal traffic of 101,334 vehicles. There were 133,929 vehicles bound for Surabaya, a 27.35% increase from the normal traffic of 105,167 vehicles.
c. GT Singosari
On Christmas Day 2022 to D+3, there were 65,001 vehicles leaving Malang, an increase of 41.35% from normal traffic of 45,987 vehicles. There were 64,170 vehicles heading to Malang, an increase of 36.72% from the normal traffic of 46,935 vehicles.
PT JTT appealed to users of the Trans Java toll road to prepare themselves before entering a trip on the toll road. Ensure that you and your vehicle are in prime condition, always comply with health protocols according to government recommendations when in rest areas, ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers in the field.
