Reducing Portal Type Signs for the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, PT JTT Makes Traffic Arrangements
Karawang (16/11) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) as the manager of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Section together with PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM) as the road maintenance service provider has lowered the portal type signs for the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to support this work, at the discretion of the Police, PT JTT manages traffic around the work site.

The sign reduction work will be carried out from Wednesday (16/11) at 22.00 WIB to Thursday (17/11) at 05.00 WIB in 3 locations as follows:

KM 65+375
KM 65+800
KM 66+300

The Jakarta-Cikampek Widening Project Management Office (PMO) Alif Setya Trikardo explained, "This work is planned to last for 2 calendar days. To speed up the process, this work will use a portion of the lanes and will be opened and closed during the implementation of the lowering of the road signs. Toll Road Jakarta-Cikampek in the direction of Jakarta and Cikampek are trying to continue operating normally," he said.

PT JTT has prepared risk mitigation including diverting affected traffic before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing contra flow and coordinating with the Highway Patrol Police (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) in traffic management. Road users are expected to always comply with the instructions given by our officers in the field to facilitate traffic flow engineering.

In order to ensure that this information is well received by road users, PT JTT has also socialized the work plan by installing outdoor media in the form of work warning banners and Variable Message Sign (VMS) on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section towards Jakarta and Cikampek.

PT JTT apologizes for the inconvenience caused due to the said work.

PT JTT appealed to all road users to anticipate trips by arranging travel times and receiving official information, ensuring vehicles are in prime condition, having sufficient electronic money balance, refueling before starting the trip. Always comply with health protocols and travel requirements according to Government regulations and be careful and obey signs, especially around work locations.
