Christmas Day 2022 The Number of Vehicles Increases, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Records 42 Thousand Vehicles Leaving Jakarta

Bekasi (26/12), PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded 42,676 vehicles leaving Jakarta on Christmas Day 2022 (25/22). The total volume of vehicles leaving the Jakarta area through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) has increased of 44.61% compared to normal traffic (traffic) of 29,511 vehicles.
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also records traffic volume on Christmas Day 2022 in the Central Java and East Java Regions as follows:
1. Central Java Region
a. GT Kalikangkung
The volume of GT Kalikangkung vehicles bound for Semarang, on Christmas Day 2022, was recorded at 28,214 vehicles, an increase of 59.39% from normal traffic of 17,701 vehicles. There were 25,090 vehicles leaving Semarang, an increase of 33.47% from the normal traffic of 18,798 vehicles.
b. GT Banyuwangi
On Christmas Day 2022, there were 40,448 vehicles going to Semarang via GT Banyumanik, an increase of 55.53% from normal traffic of 26,007 vehicles. There were 41,259 vehicles leaving Semarang, an increase of 47.44% compared to normal traffic of 27,984 vehicles.
2. East Java Region
a. GT Warugunung
On Christmas Day 2022, there were 29,220 vehicles heading to Surabaya via GT Warugunung or an increase of 45.30% compared to normal traffic of 20,110 vehicles. There were 24,391 vehicles leaving Surabaya via GT Warugunung, an increase of 40.93% compared to normal traffic of 17,307 vehicles.
b. GT Kejapanan Utama
On Christmas Day 2022, there were 39,124 vehicles bound for Surabaya, an increase of 20.46% from normal traffic of 32,478 vehicles. There were 37,592 vehicles leaving Surabaya, an increase of 26.58% from the normal traffic of 29,636 vehicles.
c. GT Singosari
On Christmas Day 2022, there were 17,815 vehicles headed for Malang, an increase of 28.15% from normal traffic of 13,902 vehicles. There were 19,903 vehicles leaving Malang, an increase of 29.52% from the normal traffic of 15,367 vehicles.
PT JTT appealed to users of the Trans Java toll road to prepare themselves before entering a trip on the toll road. Ensure that you and your vehicle are in prime condition, always comply with health protocols according to government recommendations when in rest areas, ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers in the field.
