From D-7 to D-1 Christmas 2022 The Number of Vehicles Has Increased, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Recorded 289 Thousand Vehicles Leaving Jakarta

Bekasi (25/12), PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded 289,508 vehicles leaving Jakarta from D-7 to D-1 (18-24/12) Christmas Day 2022. The total volume of vehicles leaving the Jakarta area through the Toll Gate (GT) Cikampek Utama is up 41.14% when compared to normal traffic of 205,118 vehicles.
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also records traffic volume on D-7 to D-1 Christmas Day 2022 in the Central Java and East Java Regions as follows:
1. Central Java Region
a. GT Kalikangkung
The volume of GT Kalikangkung vehicles bound for Semarang, on D-7 to D-1 Christmas Day 2022 was recorded at 176,528 vehicles, up 57.30% from normal traffic of 112,227 vehicles. There were 136,700 vehicles leaving Semarang, an increase of 31.30% from the normal traffic of 104,111 vehicles.
b. GT Banyuwangi
On D-7 to D-1 Christmas Day 2022, there were 242,137 vehicles going to Semarang via GT Banyumanik, an increase of 47.89% from normal traffic of 163,733 vehicles. There were 200,244 vehicles leaving Semarang, an increase of 47.28% compared to normal traffic of 135,957 vehicles.
2. East Java Region
a. GT Warugunung
On D-7 to D-1 Christmas Day 2022, there were 160,925 vehicles heading to Surabaya via GT Warugunung or an increase of 28.58% compared to normal traffic of 125,154 vehicles. There were 149,685 vehicles leaving Surabaya via GT Warugunung, an increase of 23.73% compared to normal traffic of 120,980 vehicles.
b. GT Kejapanan Utama
On D-7 to D-1 Christmas Day 2022, there were 209,861 vehicles bound for Surabaya, an increase of 15.83% from normal traffic of 181,182 vehicles. There were 221,185 vehicles leaving Surabaya, an increase of 20.34% from the normal traffic of 183,801 vehicles.
c. GT Singosari
On D-7 to D-1 Christmas Day 2022, there were 104,344 vehicles heading to Malang, an increase of 19.69% from normal traffic of 87,181 vehicles. There were 97,218 vehicles leaving Malang, an increase of 22.90% from the normal traffic of 79,101 vehicles.
PT JTT appealed to users of the Trans Java toll road to prepare themselves before entering a trip on the toll road. Ensure that you and your vehicle are in prime condition, always comply with health protocols according to government recommendations when in rest areas, ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers in the field.
