Starting Monday, JTT Will Reconstruct the Rigid Pavement of the Semarang - Batang Toll Road 2

Bekasi (31/08) - Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road Regional Division (JTT) will carry out rigid pavement reconstruction work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Section. This work is carried out to improve the quality of roads and at the same time the comfort and safety of toll road users.

In more detail, the rigid pavement reconstruction work is in the Section which consists of five work points with a total handling length of 295 meters as follows:

Cikampek Directions:

1. KM 35+761 to KM 35+786 with a length of 25 meters;
2. KM 35+871 to KM 35+936 along 65 meters;
3. KM 36+175 to KM 36+225 50 meters long.

Jakarta Directions:

1. KM 26+782 to KM 26+682 towards Jakarta, 100 meters long;
2. KM 26+637 to KM 26+582 towards Jakarta, 55 meters long.

For the Cikampek route, work will be carried out starting Monday (31/08) at 08.00 WIB until Thursday (03/09) at 04.00 WIB or for four calendar days. As for the Jakarta route, work will be carried out from Monday (31/08) at 10.00 WIB to Saturday (05/09) at 24.00 WIB or for six calendar days. Due to the location of the work being in lane 2, during the execution of the work, a partial lane opening and closing scheme will be carried out.

Representative Office 1 JTT has prepared risk mitigation to anticipate congestion that could potentially occur due to the work. The risk mitigation is in the form of regulating traffic flow, narrowing the work area on lane 2 so that lanes 3 and 4 are wider, and coordinating with the Police in this case the Highway Patrol (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Toll Road Operator (JMTO).

To ensure that this information is well received by road users, Jasa Marga has also disseminated the work plan by installing outdoor media in the form of job warning banners and Variable Message Signs (VMS) on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Section, both in the Cikampek and Jakarta directions.

Jasa Marga apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the said rigid pavement reconstruction work.
